Lagos State schedules 2025 public service exams, bans gadgets in testing halls

The Lagos State Government has announced that the 2025 public service examinations for all categories of staff in its Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) will take place from Tuesday, 13 May to Monday, 19 May at the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) in Magodo.

The Director of the State’s Examinations Board, Mr Adebayo Orunsolu, disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday through the board’s Public Affairs Officer, Mrs Onadipe Opebere.

To maintain the integrity of the examination environment, Mr Orunsolu stated that all electronic devices, including mobile phones, iPads, and smartwatches, would be strictly prohibited within the exam halls.

He appealed to all candidates to observe the examination guidelines and encouraged them to print their exam slips in advance from the board’s official portal, https://examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng, using their designated usernames and passwords.

He further noted that only candidates who present acceptable forms of identification will be granted entry to the examination venue. Valid IDs include Staff Identity Cards, National Identification Numbers (NIN), and Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) cards.

Mr Orunsolu reaffirmed the state government’s dedication to conducting a fair and professional examination process, adding that the assessments are a vital part of enabling career advancement for public servants.
