The Kebbi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended Kabir Sani-Giant, Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, following an incident involving a snake at the Government House.
In a statement released in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday, the party’s State Secretary, Alhaji Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, confirmed that the suspension took immediate effect.
He explained that on February 8, 2025, Sani-Giant brought a snake into the Government House, creating panic among top government officials, dignitaries, and statesmen.
Describing the act as both embarrassing and a violation of party principles, Muhammad-Kimba stressed that such behavior could tarnish the party’s reputation.
The suspension will remain in place while investigations continue, with potential disciplinary actions, including expulsion, if similar misconduct occurs in the future.
