Senior Journalist’s Toyota RAV4 stolen in Akure


A Toyota RAV4 belonging to Very Rev’d David Akinadewo-Adekahunsi has been stolen in Akure, Ondo State.

The vehicle was reportedly taken on Saturday morning from its parking spot at Ijapo Extension, Akure.

Akinadewo-Adekahunsi, a respected senior journalist and Editor-in-Chief of Nigerian Monitor Magazine, is also a well-known spiritual musician and serves as the Resident Minister of Motailatu Church of God, Oke-Idahun Parish, Akure.

The missing vehicle is an ash-colored Toyota RAV4 with the following identification details:

Plate Number: AKD 113 DV

Chassis Number: JTEHH20V526061830

The incident has been reported at the Ijapo Police Station, and the Ondo State Police Command has initiated an investigation to recover the vehicle.

Authorities are urging anyone with useful information about the car’s whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or call 08035796424.
