Adepoju applauds NIPR for professional excellence

The Director General of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr. Matthew Adepoju, has praised the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) for its contributions to national development through professional excellence.

Dr. Adepoju extended his commendation while hosting a delegation from NIPR at NASRDA’s headquarters in Abuja.

He emphasized the critical role that public relations officers play across various sectors, encouraging them to maintain their high standards and commitment to quality service delivery.

The NASRDA Director General also congratulated the NIPR members on their upcoming annual conference and expressed NASRDA’s ongoing support for their initiatives.

During the visit, the head of the delegation from NIPR’s FCT chapter, Mr. Edward Adebanjo, expressed appreciation for the warm welcome.

He invited Dr. Adepoju to serve as the Chairman for the 2024 NIPR Annual Conference and General Meeting, set to take place next month. Themed “Leadership and Economic Transformation,” the conference will explore the connection between effective leadership and economic growth.

Mr. Adebanjo noted that the choice of Dr. Adepoju as Chairman reflects his transformative leadership and dedication to socio-economic progress.

In addition, NASRDA’s Director of Media and Corporate Communications, Dr. Felix Ale, announced that the Director General had approved specialized training for the agency’s media team next year, which will include their induction as accredited NIPR members.

Dr. Ale thanked Dr. Adepoju for this unprecedented initiative, calling it a significant step forward for the Space Agency.

The visit concluded with an exchange of gifts between the two organizations, symbolizing their strengthened partnership.
