An Abuja-based lawyer cum philanthropist, Bisayo Busari-Akinnadeju, has felicitated Muslim community in commemoration of Eid-el-Maulud, the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Bisayo, in a terse statement made available to our Correspondent, noted the celebration would encourage all citizens to adopt principles of peace and understanding, thereby cultivating respect among various religious communities in the state.
She also called on everyone to unite in promoting peaceful coexistence that goes beyond religious differences.
“As we observe Eid-el-Maulud, let us take inspiration from the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), which highlight the importance of kindness, charity, and mutual respect.
“It is essential for us to continue forging connections and friendships across different faiths, ensuring that Nigeria remains a symbol of peace and unity”
“May the blessings of this day bring joy and peace to our homes,” she added.
