False Claims of Bursary Scheme from Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo Foundation Debunked


The Minister of Interior, Hon.  Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has dismissed reports about a purported “Two Hundred Million Naira Bursary Scheme for Four Thousand Students of Ondo State Origin” allegedly initiated by the Hon. (Dr.) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo Foundation. 

According to a statement released on Wednesday by Alao Babatunde, the Minister’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, the Minister strongly refuted the claims, describing the information as entirely baseless. 

“This announcement been circulated online is nothing but a fabrication. There is no truth to the claim, and the public is advised to disregard it completely.”

The statement further warned against the spread of such misinformation, emphasizing the need for the public to rely on verified channels for accurate updates. 

“The Hon. (Dr.) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo Foundation has not launched any bursary scheme of this nature. We urge the public to be cautious and verify any news before circulating it,” he added.
