Oyo State Local Government Pension Board has announced a 2-day sensitization/training programme for public primary school teachers and local government staff due for retirement between this month and December.
Chairman, Local Government Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ige made this known in a statement titled: “Toward Achieving Hitch-Free Processing of Retirement Benefits”.
Hon. Ige said the flag off ceremony will be on the 15th of this month at House of Chiefs, Parliament Building, Secretariat Ibadan, at 9 o'clock in the morning.
According to Hon. Ige, the training would equip them on the need to do away with engaging touts and middlemen in processing their retirement benefits.
He added that the programme which would end 6th of next month, would be held in all the seven geo-political zones of the state.
