Victor Olatoyegun, a key supporter of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in Akungba Akoko South-West LGA, is set to launch a grassroots network to support the re-election of Ondo State Governor, H/E Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and his Deputy, Olayide Adelami.
In a press release to The Focus Magazine, Olatoyegun described the grassroots network as a political initiative to back the Governor. He emphasized the importance of active participation in societal progress, stating, "When the best ideas are not brought forward, society fails to challenge itself, leading to stagnation, lack of innovation, and progress. It is only through active participation that a society can thrive and ensure a better future for all its members."
Olatoyegun announced the campaign's launch in Akoko Southwest Local Government Area, aiming to energize and mobilize every community for the upcoming election on November 16, 2024. He praised Governor Aiyedatiwa's leadership and commitment to Ondo State's development, highlighting improvements in security, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic growth.
Olatoyegun pointed out the notable improvement in security, which has led to a general sense of peace in the state. "Our commitment is to ensure that this progress continues. We are confident that with the people's support, Governor Aiyedatiwa will lead Ondo State to even greater heights," he added.
The grassroots network plans to engage directly with the people of Akoko South West Local Government and beyond, addressing their concerns and sharing the Governor's vision for the future. Activities will include group meetings, door-to-door canvassing, and community outreach events to spread the message of hope and progress represented by Governor Aiyedatiwa.
