2027: Kano's Saidu Danladi Heads Youth President Agenda


*Akwa Ibom's Sylvester serves as deputy

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, a movement, National Youth Alliance (NYA) President, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas has approved the establishment of the Youth President Agenda (YPA).

This followed wide consultations with youth from the six geo political zones in Nigeria, who insist that the country yearns for a youth president in the next general elections.

This was made known in a statement signed by the SA Media and Publicity to the NYA President, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Thursday May 30, 2024.

It said,  "The Chairman/Youth President NYA, Amb. Aliyu Bin Abbas has approved the establishment of the Youth President Agenda a support based youth group to promote the agenda of younger persons participate in elective positions under the leadership of Hon. Sa’idu Ibrahim Danladi from Kano State as the National Coordinator and Hon. Mayor Sylvester from Akwa Ibom as the Deputy National Coordinator,"  the statement said.

The statement added that those saddled with the responsibility, have at various times, demonstrated ability to mobilize and have charisma to achieve the task.

"We are optimistic that with the steps being taken, Nigerian youth, who form the bulk of voters in the country will see the need to join the moving train that will propel our nation with great   potentials to prosperity, " the statement said.
