A socio-political group, Ondo Consolidation Group (OCG) has disclosed that the developmental strides of late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, would remain evergreen in the memory of the of the state.
OCG also condoled with the family of the late Governor in a statement signed on Monday by its State Coordinator, Engr Oladipo Bamidele, in Akure, the state capital.
The statement read, “With heavy hearts and solemn reverence, the Convener of Ondo Consolidation Group (OCG), Hon. Kolawole Babatunde (Amaechi) and the entire members of the Group bid farewell to our beloved late Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, CON, as he embarks on his final journey home.
“As we join in mourning, we extend our deepest condolences to his immediate family and the good people of Ondo State affected by this profound loss.
“Governor Akeredolu's legacy of dedication, vision, and service to Ondo State will forever be etched in our hearts. His unwavering commitment to the betterment of our communities has left an indelible mark, inspiring us to strive for excellence and unity.
“As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate his remarkable life and contributions. Let us honor his memory by continuing his legacy of progress, compassion, and unity. Together, let us stand strong, united in our resolve to build a brighter future for Ondo State.
“May Governor Akeredolu's memory be a source of inspiration and comfort to us all, and may his legacy continue to guide us as we forge ahead on the path of progress and development for generations to come.
