The New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), Ondo State Chapter,has called on the security operatives in the state to take action on the group of people who are destroying aspirants billboards across the state.
The Ondo State Publicity Secretary of NNPP, Comrade Wasiu Sanusi, in a statement on Thursday i Akure, said that there was urgent to address the trend so that such perpetrators would not cause crisis in the state.
Sanusi said that the faceless group had been destroying billboards of governorship aspirants in the All Progressive.
“We which is the main opposition party in Ondo State frown at destroying of billboards in Ondo State among the aspirants of the ruling party All Progressive Congress APC in the state.
“We should not have reacted to the issue but we realise that if this is happening among themselves in the ruling party then what will now be our fate as a main opposition party in the state,” he said.
He asked people of the state to continue to keep faith with NNPP, adding that the party had become the best alternative to use in unseating the ruling party in the state.
