Akeredolu was a man with deep sense of compassion —Falana

The late governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, has been portrayed as an ideal leader who led from the heart.

This was the stance of the special adviser on gender  Chief Olamide Falana, on Friday, while reacting to the demise of her late boss.

She remarked: "My late Boss was in many ways unmatched in terms of capacity and fine leadership traits. He exuded unusual courage; he was blunt and forthwith, yet he was down to earth. He was true, compassionate  and genuine, and, above all, he led from the heart.

"As a leader, he groomed by allowing you to cultivate  ideas independently. He listened and loved intelligence in persons. That is the worth of our late leader who we all dearly miss. His legacies are indelible on the face of Ondo State and in our hearts as his mentees and admirers."

"Akeredolu was a man with deep sense of compassion who couldn't bear to see his subjects in pains, I recall his personal mourning of the victims of Owo Massacre, all of whom he mourned as though they were relatives".

Falana prays repose for Akeredolu's amiable soul and comfort for his immediate and extended family.
