Hon. Adeyemo Olalekan has resigned as the Deputy Youth Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in Ondo State.
Adeyemo also announce his exit from the party on Tuesday.
In a statement, Olalekan said he had also withdrawn his membership of the party from his Unit 10, Ward 6 Ogbagi Akoko in Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
He noted that, “I am no more member of Ondo state APC exco. I withdraw also my membership of the party in my unit, ward, local government, senatorial district, ondo state and Nigeria.”
Giving reason for his decision, the party Chieftain said “I can’t continue to be part of oppressors in Nigeria”
Reacting, the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Alex Kalejare expressed surprise over the development, adding that Olalekan was yet to notify the party leadership officially as he was still at the state Working Committee meeting held today in Akure.
