Prof. Mustapha Adejoro, the Alafin of Afin in Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State, has called on Nigerian youths to embrace farming in order to bolster food production in the country.
The Monarch's call for increase in food production is not unconnected with the hardship which followed the removal of fuel subsidy by the Federal Government.
In a chat with AllNews correspondent on Thursday, Oba Adejoro, stressed that abundant food production would nip hunger and poverty in the bud, while he urged President Bola Tinubu to ensure proper delivery of palliatives to the downtrodden.
He also appealed to youths to shun all nefarious activities and involve in gainful ventures that will transform their living standards.
Oba Adejoro, however called on government at the various levels to up their games on securing lives and properties.
