How Ondo Rep, Tunji-Ojo Got Ministerial Appointment - Aide

...Reveals What Akeredolu And Ondo APC Feels About Tunji-Ojo's Appointment

The member representing Akoko North East/Akoko North West Federal Constituency, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, was nominated as a minister by the President because God wanted him there.

This was revealed by his aide, Thalis Apalowo, during an interview on Crest FM on Friday. He noted that the appointment was not about the capacity of Tunji-Ojo but the grace of God.

According to Apalowo, "The President of a country or the Governor of a state has the power to appoint whoever they want as aide.

"The Governor of Ondo state, the All Progressives Congress, and many Nigerians are happy about the appointment of our leader, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, as Ministerial nominee.

"Whenever God is involved in a situation, it becomes very easy. All glory should be given to God. The nomination was not about the capacity of our leader, Tunji-Ojo, but the grace of God."

On whether Tunji-Ojo is interested in the Governorship seat in Ondo state, Apalowo explained that whatever is being circulated on the media or any other place about Tunji-Ojo's interest in the next Ondo Gubernatorial election are mere rumours.

"Some of our people believe in rumour so much, but I can assure you that Honourable Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is not interested in the next Ondo state gubernatorial election. His appointment has nothing to do with the gubernatorial election. He was appointed because of his track records in the public and private sector."
