Alleged Internal wrangling: Akeju writes open letter to Akoko Youth Forum sues for peace

AN OPEN LETTER TO VARIOUS FACTIONS OF AKOKO NORTHWEST LOCAL GOVERNMENT YOUTH FORUM

The National Presidential Candidate of Akoko Youth Forum, Comrade Ibukun James AKEJU, has called on members of the Akoko NorthWest Local Government Youths Forum to settle their differences for smooth running and progress of the union.

Addressing members of the two factions, Comrade Akeju urged both groups to be united and act in good faith to address challenges facing the Unions and the Association at large and also take example of the relative peace enjoyed in the the other Three (3) Local Government Forum of the Association namely,Me I'm contesting for the national body,
Akoko Northeast, Akoko Southwest, and Akoko Southeast.

“For the future of upcoming generations, we have to be united and be a strong force to reckon with, for the benefit of the Association in Akoko NorthWest Local Government. These unions have to fill the gap. We are divided now and need to be united for us to be able to produce the National President at this time we're given the opportunity to.”

“The disagreement has lingered for some times now, hindering us from coming together as one force to face challenges we have dealt with over time. Nobody had risen to put a stop to the issues.”

However, let me dispel the notion that I am writing this Open letter to you because of my Ambition for the National President of this Great Association. I have always have my independent political views largely based on equity, justice and fair-play.

In addition, If given the opportunity to lead the Noble Union at the National, I'm ever ready and willing to work with all concerned parties to move this Union forward.

Kindly accept the assurances of my highest consideration and personal esteem.

Yours sincerely,
Comrade Ibukun James AKEJU
©️National Presidential Candidate, Akoko Youth Forum
