A driver who is accused of crashed into an outdoor dining area and killing a woman was allegedly having sex at the same time. Court documents indicate that a woman was performing oral sex on Alex Moreno when his pickup truck charged backwards in a parking lot and hit three people at a table outside a bar.
Police responded to Agave Sports Bar in San Jose, California, shortly after 9pm on Friday. Moreno was in his parked truck when he accidentally hit the gas in reverse, slamming into three diners sitting outside the establishment, KRON4 reported.
All three diners were transported to hospitals and a 35-year-old woman died of her injuries. The two other victims, both men, are expected to recover.
The passenger in Moreno’s truck was not injured. Court documents obtained on Friday stated that the passenger, a woman, was giving Moreno oral sex while he was behind the wheel.
Moreno is charged with gross vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence causing injury. He was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.
The woman who died has not yet been identified by authorities.
