Kanye West reportedly now worth $6.6 billion

Kanye West is worth $6.6 billion dollars and more than half of it is due to his Yeezy sneaker and apparel brand.

According to Bloomberg, the Jesus Is King emcee‘s Yeezy Brand, which is in partnership with Adidas AG and Gap Inc., is now valued between $3.2 billion and $4.7 billion by UBS Group AG. West’s new collaboration with Gap, which is set to hit stores this summer, “could be worth as much as $970 million of that total,” reports the outlet. In addition to the money from Yeezy, the Chicago native has $122 million in stock and cash, $110 million from his music catalog and $1.7 billion in other assets, including his estranged wife’s SKIMS business.

Last year, West signed a 10-year contract to design and sell garments under the Yeezy Gap label. He has full creative control and ownership over the brand, which is expected to break $150 million in sales during its first full year in 2022.
