Zakky Azzay's ex-wife honoured by Project Alert for fight against domestic violence (photos)

90's singer Zakky Azzay's wife Hadiza Yadoo Anyamikegh was over the weekend honored by Project Alert with the ''Heroes Award'' in recognition for her courageous fight against gender based violence, domestic and sexual violence. The award was presented to her by founder of Project Alert Mrs Josephine Effah during the 16th anniversary of the women's rights organization.

Hadiza herself said she suffered domestic violence from the hands of her ex husband and had to run away from her matrimonial home and end her marriage. Congrats to her. More pics after the cut..
