Thank you Mamalette Live! 2015 a success (photos)

Mamalette Live! 2015 has come and gone. The event that took place at the Co Creation Hub, Yaba, Lagos this past weekend proved that young Nigerian mothers and mothers-to-be need a community that they can call home.   

Mamalette Live! 2015 featured a good range of exhibitors, services and sessions appealing to mothers and mothers-to-be. Over 600 women registered for the event and our sessions were packed full and were overflowing.

 

Our amazing speakers did an excellent job with sharing their knowledge on a wide range of issues such as financial literacy, balancing motherhood and career, pregnancy and childbirth, fertility, child sex abuse and love, sex and relationships. The wide-range of sessions appealed to many different interests. We also had a free pregnancy drop-in advice session manned by doctors from LUTH.

Some of the speakers that graced our event include Dr Princess Olufemi-Kayode, Alhaja Sherifat Andu, Francis Ebuehi, Oluremi Ebuehi, Kris Ero, Sisi Yemmie, Olawunmi Esan, Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola, Dr Nora Banjoko, Dr Adeyemi Okunowo, Dr Adesumbo Odeseye, Titi Oyinsan, Stephen Omojuyigbe, Omilola Oshikoya, Nkechi Macaulay, Tolulope Akinkoye amongst others.

Our exhibition hall was a great success, stealing the attention of most of the attendees with free health tests provided by Pathcare Nigeria, the women banking team from Access Bank, Dettol Nigeria providing free samples, Deluxe Childbirth services informing women on how to go about delivering their babies in the US, Wemy Industries displaying their fast range of products for mother and baby and Grace Schools Gbagada informing new mothers about their excellent academic standards. 

Due to popular demand from Mamalettes in our community, Mamalette Live! 2016 will hold in 3 cities in Nigeria. We will be coming to Abuja in March 2016 and preparations are in full swing for another amazing event. We are now taking sponsorship and exhibition enquiries for Mamalette Live! 2016. Our baby changing room was sponsored by Pampers Nigeria and every woman who attended Mamalette Live! got a free pack of diapers amongst other goodies. The creche was also a big hit with many mothers saying their babies and little ones had so much fun.
