The Palms Shopping Mall, Lekkion Friday, November 27, 2015, hosted numerous A-list celebrities, who came to party at the launch of Cloud9, a subscriber-based, music streaming platform that enables subscribers listen and download content to your device.
Hosted by Hype man Extraordinaire; DotunKayode, the event had performances from numerous International and Nigerian acts such as; Rapper O.T. Genasis, Casper Nyovest, Ice Prince, Seyi Shay, Olu Maintain, Victoria Kimani, AdeKunle Gold, DJ Caise, DJ Spinall, EzinneAsinugo from the Afro-British mega dance group –The CEO dancers, Kelly Handsome, May D, Sean Tizzleamongst others.
Some of the artistes such as May D and Olu Maintain gave gifts to the audience during their performances, while the deal breaker for the night was American Rapper O.T. Genasis, who conducted a rap freestyle contest which saw winners go home with a collective cash prize of N500,000.
